my art trade with

;u;b I have finished my 12 color crayola challenge! It was so fun using all the colors and learning how to shade differently!
My challenge was to use only 12 colored pencils from a crayola colored pencil set and see what I can do with them. this is what happened.
Why did I do this? To show that you do not need fancy materials to make art. If you love to draw the materials come to you and you learn how to use whatever you have.

an M Night Shyamalan film about a girl who leaves her village to find antibiotics for some guy she likes whos sick. it's like a secret society. yellow is the "safe color" and she leaves wearing a yellow cloak. she has to travel through the woods, which are supposedly filled with evil monsters.

What colors did you use?

Yeah it was pretty fun! I was pretty much forced upon me when I was going to school and would have to wake up very early. I ended up waiting at a donut shop until the school opened so I drew and colored. But the only materials I could really carry on me were light so I had a pack of 12 crayola pencils -->[link] and a lead pencil
I used all the colors which would be: light brown, pink, red orange, red, black, purple, light blue, dark blue, yellow (a lot of yellow), light green, and dark green, and a dark brown. I think that's about it. ha ha ha.

Wow thank you so much! It wasn't really my intention in the beginning to make the eyes so ...like the main point of the picture. But when they are such a light green it just sort of happens. And since it's around the center of the page OTL.

OH GOD! One reason why I HATE using the combo of red and green because of the whole christmas effect ha ha ha. I tried to avoid that by making the leaves look a little darker, ha ha ha. It's all about blending. ;u;b

LMAO, yes show her this picture and tell her what crayola can to! It's not so much about the material but you know how you use it. Everyone feels comfortable with different things and crayolas are just one thing that work for me, ha ha.

I love how you used 12 pencil crayons to prove that fancy materials aren't necessary.
The eyes are so wide and lashed and simply amazing. I adore how wet and shiny they look. The ones on the hood too.
