waaahh thank you so much! I have always just focused on faces and have learned to correct them and whatever not so much with bodies though. I'm still learning how to draw bodies well but at least my portraits are passable, XD

I am such a sucker for these tribal drawings and you do the best ones. Especially with all the details and everything. What's his story though? I know you didn't just draw it for no reason. You usually put a lot of thought into what you do.

dudeeee I love drawing tribal drawings! they are just so ...well I guess they always come out more personal than usual, ha ha ha. And I love adding the details to them like feathers, beads, skulls, you name it and it can fit in the picture. Dead fish ;3;b been into dead fish lately.
Well...his story? I'm trying to think back about it...I think it was something to do with traditional sacrifices. That once a year they choose someone to be sacrificed to the gods and they chose this kid and he was overjoyed, lol. He was honored to be in the Gods favor. or something like that.

The thing I love most about this piece is the sullen eyes. Now, I'm a complete sucker for eyes. This piece reminds me of Cinco De Mayo. It's got the tribal -I could almost say "old civilization"- look to it. The title, "Tradition," give me this sense too. It is tradition to gather the bones of the dead (or nowadays, go to graveyards), and put those "bead-like thingies (don't ask me what they're called! >>
