Unfortunately, I've only run across a few good crossover fics with these fandoms, and most of them are on the Hiatus of Doom.

Personally, I've always kind of assumed it would end in a stalemate where they were too exhausted to fight anymore, so they start talking, and realize that they were fighting for stupid reasons, or something like that.
