Before anybody starts climbing my tree... I only sorta ship this, it's more of a fun, random thing for me that I consider but I don't really care if it happens or not. xDThat being said drawing it is fun and the idea has some charm if set within the right boundaries.

I honestly don't feel strongly about it given how Qrow kept antagonizing Winter, then got her thrown out a meeting...
I'm just saying, strong feeling that Winter will try to attack Qrow on first sight come V7....
And....a lot of Qrow shippers will get very very upset upon realizing that maybe, just maybe...a ship will be only a ship...never canon.
But enough of my thoughts, what are yours?

I totally think what you say can be true. I don't really care if a ship I ship is canon as most of the ships I like tend to be with in the 'crack' domain, while it would be fun, I don't really care in the end. I'd much rather the author be true to whatever they wanted without caving into fanbase pressure, even if I don't agree with it or don't like it.

Sorry I probably came off really rude there and I apologize. It's alright! I do understand where you are coming from. I have addressed a lot of people over time about my shipping of this ship and therefore am tired of talking about it, but you didn't know that and that's not your fault. I'm also not really in the RWBY fandom anymore.

Why some people ship Qrow with Winter? Is it because of the fight, or is it because Winter being Weiss' sister and Qrow being Ruby's uncle or is it something else? I'm just curious.

This is my favorite series ship, since I like Qrow a great deal (being a dusty old uncle myself) plus he and Winter struck enough sparks to light a fire. Plus there is all the potential reactions of Ruby and Weiss as well!

I have a feeling Qrow is going to bite it this season. Last season's close call was a ruse.
Someone is going to die tragically this season and it's always the stoic mentor/guardian who dies during this part of a series.
Prepare the feels.

Dude, that's just rude.
Even if you don't like the ship, telling the artist who somewhat ships it that it needs to be sunk is really a rude thing to say. If I came to a picture of yours of a ship you shipped really hard and then told you that it was doomed to fail, you'd probably be really mad at me.
Saying that you're not fond of a ship is okay, telling someone that their ship should be destroyed is not.
