the colors are dead on i havent enjoyed a game in a long time like i enjoyed american mcgees alice and the jabberwockeys dialogue made my damn jaw drop lol. this is badass the coloring and the sketch itself.

I've taken the challenge to recreate him in Spore. This picture will surely help. You made a great job coloring it.
I also love this character in the game. He reminds me strongly of Ridley from the Metroid series, and not only because of the appearance. I hope he makes it into the sequel.

wonderfull picture, everyone who has played American McGee's Alice can say the Jabberwock is an awesome character, I love this guy, even though he is kinda hard to beat the second time you fight him
you coloured this ? with photoshop ? how in the world do you do that shading, I see so many pics like this but I can't figure out how you shade a picture like that. I can't work with light elements

I generally used the dodge and burn tools. There might be a prettier and more efficient way of doing it, but it worked well enough for me in this case.
