Description
I thought I'd take a stab at the Delta Quadrant with the most prominent alien on Voyager, the Talaxians. I watched a lot of Voyager thinking I disliked Neelix, but I think I was just reacting to his aesthetic. I always thought he looked like a mulleted goldfish-bulldog who dressed like he raided a curtain store. But, he's open, friendly, optimistic, and genuinely eager. He's a great character, but saddled with an overcomplicated and somewhat silly design. My goal with this was to capture the spirit of his original look and feel, and but went in the direction of something a bit more fish-like. I tried to make a him both alien and friendly.
