I'm not really a fan of the ferengi.. but this design is probably my favorite out of the ones I've seen you make! Very alien and weird, but in a very cool way! Fantastic job with this one!

But yeah, to your original point, it was interesting hearing about how the Ferengi were supposed to TNG's new alien threat and how badly the execution flopped.

When you think big threat you don't think crazy barely thinking gerbil's, like SF Debris pointed out, their first appearance was like watching a racist propaganda film.
