Very diverse crew, what's Mourna's story? I'm guessing she's not based after "Enterprise" Orions or else she'd have little interest in joining Star Fleet (since they were reimagined as pheromone mind controlling space succubi who PRETEND to be slaves to their own slaves as part of a ruse that was exposed long before Kirk's time XD).

I had a idea for a Orion girl to be in Starfleet Intelligence she's a Lieutenant Commander and first officer on the USS Unsung Hero and first officer she is currently on assignment in Cardassian space gather intel from seduce gul on plans by the Obsidian Order to attack the Federation. She is a former Pirate and Smuggler she is wanted in over 11 sectors and expert assassin and bounty hunter from her time before she was caught it took 7 Starships two bring her in and three out of the seven heavily damage or disable.

The idea is that in a series of attacks the federation is overpowered and broken. The free worlds of the Federation are then defenceless against invading forces...be they Klingon, Romulan, Tholian, Gorn, Cardassian......The Repulse would be a surviving starship that has to survive in a hostile universe with no safe place to stay.
It was an idea....I don't really write fiction anymore.

My original idea was one of the founders of the federation separates....but more likely after a conflict with an alien menace like the Borg, or Planet Killers or something like that a weakened Federation would be shattered by the many enemies they have. The Breen, the Romulans, The Cardassians, the Tholians, The Gorns, the Klingons and anyone else that would benefit in territory and resources. But I haven't really cemented the idea.

Klingon, Andorians, Orion, and...Whatever those blue and purple dudes are lol. The blue guy with the face ridge does look vaguely familiar, but I can't recall his species, and I've never seen that purple guy's species before. Great looking crew of characters
