I'll admit that the stalone movie is a guilty pleasure, but this? THIS is what a Judge Dredd film SHOULD be like.
Though if they do a Sequel, I wouldn't want them to do the Judge Death storyline. Maybe the Rico Dredd one.

That would be cool. Always neat to see stuff from that universe. Not a lot of people do it (you're the first I've seen on DA), so it's cool when work like that crops up. Plus, Anderson is a babe

i didn't mind "Stallone's" version years ago, so good to hear this ones worth the look, not like the mess they done with the "Total Recall" remake, what a let down that was compared to "Arnold's" version.

main thing for me why it didn't work was they never made it to "Mars", i read the book back in the 80's and "Arnolds movie was very close to the book, the latest was something completely different story wise

they done a full book in the 80's that was released before the movie Arnold done, i use to have it but lost it when i loaned it to a friend years ago

just a little more on what i just wrote, it appears that i have read the novel which came from the first story written which it sounds like you have read, it's the novel that has mars in it, but goes more into detail and aligns itself with the first movie, sorry about that

The new movie was really quite awesome! Too bad it didn't do better box office. The morality play of Judge Anderson's emotional journey and Dredd's reaction to it is just about pitch perfect.

Indeed. It's my favorite picture I've seen this year. Anyone who wants to see a strong on-screen female character needs to see this movie. I'd love to see this become a franchise but I doubt the box office take will result in that.
