The character I like least is Sabine because she istrying wayto hard to be a cool badass awesome spunky arty gurl power gurl.

Hopefully they will mellow out Sabine, the Out of Darkness episode did a lot to humanize her beyond being a walking "gurl power" cliche.
Its weird how a show can simoultaneously have one of the best female characters that does everything right (Hera), and one of the worst... urgh...

I like Rebels as a whole (judging from the 4 episodes I've seen) episode 4 was a bit darker though, and episode 5 seems to become even more so judging from the teaser.

It's most certainly interesting enough to keep watching, and was properly hyped. As a roleplayer it comes closer to what you would play than all the clone wars epic warfare. It'll be interesting how they're going to keep mainstream movie characters from getting too involved...

I hope they keep all that to a minimum. As a role player myself I don't like playing second fiddle to bigger heroes. When I play STAR WARS....the players are the MAIN charactersΒ

I didn't really like the character design at first. Knowing he was based on the original Wookie designs I figured his speaking part might be less fun

Understandable, as ya know, I wasn't too keen on Sabine or Ezra initially XD...And I admit they're not as bad as I thought they were gonna be, especially Ezra. I may lighten up on Sabine completely once we finally learn more about her beyond "artsy demogal in poorly camouflaged mandalorian armor" XD...she still strikes me as a character that the creators try too hard to make seem cool at times lol). I still favor the rest of the crew
I like how Kanan is a jedi but doesn't fully grasp every aspect of the culture, teaching Ezra being as much as a challenge to him as learning is for Ezra (I finally began warming up to Ezra after he & Zeb developed their big buddy/little buddy relationship & the father/son relationship with Kanan). Hera's an awesome pilot & I like how she carries alot of authority & strength on the team, even the jedi has to answer to her lol, & she's good mother figure for Ezra (she's also gorgeous lol). Chopper is Chopper, nough said XD

Yep....much of the shows designs come from Ralph McQuarrie's concept art for the original STAR WARS trilogy. Look it up sometime...you will se character and vehicles that are now part of the show
