Description I don't think I ever uploaded this. I was thinking about it this morning and was like "I should really upload it." Anyways, it's a comic page featuring my character Duhgare hunting some fictional... deer thing? Deer antelope thing. Maybe there will be more pages, maybe not. I dunno. xD

Traditionally drawn/inked and then colored digitally.

Gorgeous work, the mix of digital colouring and traditional lineart is nice on this one! <3
Also, I gotta say... MY DUHGARE, HOW YOU'VE CHANGED! :'D
His design looks really different from the original, but still just as nice! <3 I like the little pale markings under his eyes, and the addition of a darker dorsal stripe, and also, look at all that cheek floof he's sprouted! Panel 2 especially...
Different from the original version, but I think it makes his face look more unusual and less just like a standard cheetah-like face.Β He's such a pretty boy, and those deer-antelope-thingies better watch out!
Love the motion pose of him at the bottom, very realistic and fluid, also I can't help but notice his anatomy looks more feline now - his chest isn't as deep as it was, and his spine looks more flexible.

Thank you so much!
I know right? I was just looking at that old sketchy reference I had drawn for him today and was like "gosh why did I think this was a good idea?" I think my goal then was a more horsey dog cat thing. I don't know. He's always had the dorsal stripe, and he's always been brown. That hasn't changed. I did add the lighter color though.
I knoooowww! Them cheek fluffs! :3 I want to pull on them! But he's probably bite me. I was kinda debating on giving them a more lynxy/cheetah face and I really like that idea. I am still working out the kinks of the design, though. It'll probably change some more.
Yeah he's gonna catch himself a deer-antelope thingy for sure! xD And thank you! What's funny is that when I drew that I was visualizing a greyhound or a borzoi but it still looks pretty feline. xD I think of them as like sighthound cheetah lynx things now. Now all they need are ear tufts! =O

You're very welcome!
And really? I hadn't seen the dorsal stripe before, since in my OOOOOLD fanart of him, he didn't have one then. :'D
Yus, they're just as tempting as Adi's beard, but I'd have to agree with you that Duhgare probably IS a lot more likely to bite us for it! I love the new cheek fluffs though, definitely a lynx-like look going on there, and he suits it so well!
Ha, unless something goes wrong there, he looks set to catch one!

Well, congratulations then, since he still came out looking feline, and yessss, ear tufts make everything better!

I think I have exaggerated it more now is probably it. I looked up the first colored picture of him in my gallery and he has it: fc05.deviantart.net/fs51/f/200…

XD His sculpture (that is also really really old) has one. It probably just didn't look really obvious like it does now. Ha ha! Yay for changing designs! x3

Oh yeah, I'm sure he'd be more likely to bite us for pulling on the cheek fluffs.

Ah, so it is! I thought there must have been one picture though where he didn't... otherwise I guess I missed reading about it on the ref so it didn't end up on my fanart!

Yay for changing designs indeed though!

Definitely true, I don't think Duhgare would be as patient... I think Adi would just sit there and let you pester him though... let's face it, he's had far worse from his two naughty little gremlins.
Particularly Morticia... she loved chewing his ears.:'D Sounds cute until you remember Krovendrakk cubs are born with a fully functional set of teeth.

Ha ha! Yeah, Duhgare's temper towards petting is about as bad as my cat Flynn. He bites. LOL.

Ha ha. Nooo not fully functioning teefs. D: LOL. A tug on the beard would certainly be nothin after that. ^_^'

Oh dear, I'd rather keep my fingers then! Looks like I'll not be snuggling cheek fuzz after all! :'D

Yep... that's got to HURT! Especially since she didn't like to let go even when being told off for it - one time he stood up, thinking she'd let go and not be able to reach - instead she remained firmly attached, her whole weight being supported by the teeth embedded in her daddy's ear. I'm pretty sure that must have left a mark... and his patience(ha, he practically developed the patience of a Saint :'D)Β would have had to be remarkable for him to sit down again and gentle prise her off, rather than doing what must have been EXTREMELY tempting after all those hours of getting chewed - Β shaking his head and flinging her off!
