Description
The beautiful city of Marseille, France. Taken from the Notre Dame De La Garde... High above the city. I dedicate this photo to my wonderful friend Chris St James. My husband and I made a special trip to Marseilles in the spring of 2009 to meet and spend time with Chris who we both met on DA several years prior. Chris has Multiple Sclerosis, as does my husband Beau. At the time I took this picture Chris was feeble, but able to accompany us to this beautiful architectural wonder. We so enjoyed our time visiting Marseilles and seeing it like it is meant to be seen... shown by someone from there that knows and loves the city.Chris is not doing so well these days. He is tired and each day is becoming harder for him to do simple things. There is nothing anyone can really do except keep Chris alive in your hearts and pray for him as he finds his way.

The statue was beautiful in person.It is set high on a hill over looking and protecting Marseilles,France so happy you like it! Thank you!!!!!

That would be wonderful. This will be my first Christmas in another country. At 55 it will be different to be in 100 degree's and playing jingle bells!!!! I will miss my boys too...Jack and Tim... Australia is a beautiful place.

thanks for your comment. Life is good, I will not be back in the states until March 2010. I am seeing how well I do away from everything I have ever known. I miss my children, but talk to them online and will see them in March. Since both boys are in school, they are busy doing their thing anyway. It is summer here, so that is nice. I have a great garden, and the beach is so beautiful...200ft away!
