I was just so amazed at how much Sugar Cane they grow here. Dummy me did not realize that it is the chief ingredient in making the famous Bundaberg Rum!!!!![link] There are loads of other uses too. Beau and I tour the facility... really a nice side trip! I don't really care for Rum, unless used as a flavoring in desserts... I stick to tried and true...RED WINE... Thanks for the comment.~G

thanks B... I was mesmerized by the miles and miles of Sugar Cane going up the North coast of Australia. At night you can see fields burning in the distance. The smell of burning Sugar Cane is another Australian thing. Evidently there will be new was to harvest and prepare the fields in the future.
