Riveted chain maille texture, created in 3D for you to use in your artwork. Textures come as TGA files (can be opened in both PS and Gimp) with alpha maps so you can design what is below the maille. The two files together are about 110MB

I built this to be easier to manipulate and cover larger areas than photographic textures will allow, without obvious repeats in the pattern or change in lighting across the surface. Please note this can't be used as a seamless texture for 3D applications (unless you modify it) but I have created a piece large enough to cover most eventualities. For digital painting I have had reasonable results by upping the contrast and then running the 'oil painting' filter on it, would love to see what you come up with.
