Description Just a quick and easy instruction sheet for making a very basic drawstring pouch. I'm teaching an introductory sewing class next week and needed to come up with an easy project for them.

Won't there be some durability problem with the sides of the "tube" where the ribbon slide ? Anyhow, it's a cool idea for your class !

Well, this is for hand stitching and most of these people have never held a needle and thread in their lives, so I want to keep it really basic.

You could have them do some simple wizard robes too. I made some with a bed sheet and a stapler so with a sewing machine and your skill I'll bet you could make something pretty cool that would still be simple for your class.

The problem is that we don't have a lot of cloth, and I don't have machines for everybody, it's just a hand stitching class. Though thanks for your idea!
