Description there are bruises on my skin
like fairy dust, (i wish i could
fly away)

          it’s late and
        night creatures are crawling between
     anticipated gestures.        my hands are
shaking but I am not scared. I am
an earthquake dressed in moonlight, I
am a natural disaster, I am an
         apocalypse.    he
is static and I can’t decipher my own
                                           thoughts, he is
in my throat, crackling like a fire.
every word crumbles before it stands tall. he
                    is the future come back
                                   to warn me. he
is somewhere different.

but he holds my hand and the sky whispers
that everything is okay so for once everything

is okay, (i’m so close to flying)

True, very true. Although, maybe it's all just a romantic idea, that a 'one true love' exists for everyone. If there is an odd number of people in the world, there just might be a trio somewhere, missing their third person.

there is a perspecctive

I find a certain understanding though, in believing that a large number of people are essentially pathetic slash have no game slash arent worth the effort extended, in loving them

I think I agree, mostly because those people might just believe in that 'soul mate' principle and so don't think they need to better themselves in order to become worthy of what's possible.

That certainly does not support my particular understanding of soulmates, but I see entirely what you mean

I like to think of soulmates as being two threads entwined in the form of a ball of yarn; the yarn is multicoloured. Either thread could entwine in any number of positions, but the yarn-ball needed everything exactly where it is, for the sake of categorization (something related to the astrological age, of that era)

Our lives are us running down the course of the string

That's a marvelous way of thinking of it.
