Lovely piece. I especially like the way the background works into the border.

Why not? 'Cause there's still people around who'd think you were talking about a cheerleader from the basketball team?

I was thinking of a complimentary array for contrast keeping it a design pattern piece, as for her skin I kind of like the stark white like geisha girl with the hard black patterns, we will see Ill play with it in photoshop someday.

beautiful repetition of lines and curves. The dimensionality of it connects the foreground to the back in a flow that makes my eyes travel and dance.

Thanks, Something I learned late is all the illusions you can add to 2-D works that you can't in 3-D, I kept pushing for realism and ended up with images that looked like a photo not taking advantage of the 2-D realm of impossibility.

I love the designs on her face as well as the designs on the background, it seems that you were in a very jungly (is that a word?) place from the pictures you draw. Its very interesting to see. The first picture I have looked at in a long time that I have been able to think of a character out of it, and feel a story. Good Job

Thanks, I think the concepts are most important design skills to incorperate in art of any form.

Thanks, I thought I would mess with color on the computer later, most my finished drawings were done when I was computer illiterate.
I mostly do mudd sculpture for now.
