She's beautiful, her hair is so intricate and stunning
If you don't mind me asking, what was your process when making her and what clay body is she?

She's absolutely lovely.
Beautiful work. I adore what you do with clay and the way the figures meld and morph from form to form.
Like a bridge between worlds, or dreams.

Wonderful idea, wonderful sculpture. I love symbolism, and this is just brimming with it.
I also agree with reboot, how you twisted the body and made it asymmetrical adds a certain level of interest that really goes well with the piece. Excellent.

Yet another extraordinary piece. The composition of this one is great. I like how you didn't make it totally symmetrical by twisting her upperbody, it adds a lot of complexity to the piece. I have a few questions, if you don't mind me asking...
Is she attached to the base?
And how did you put the incising in the base? It's so perfect, I was thinking a stamp may have been used.

Thanks again, and yes she is attached to the base. The I-CHING pattern in the base was layed out just like a drawing then carved with sharp clay tools before attaching the figure

What kind of clay is this? I am amazed at your detail for such a small piece. Love the subject matter. What does she mean to you? Do you plan to fire her or is there a reason you have left her in a pre-fire state?
Beautiful!

She is a porciline body clay w/ sand added and has just finished high fireing the other day. She beacame a gift to MsJ777 as I was creating the figure and the concepts were evolving I figured whom It was for which compleated the piece. The concepts are mostly middle eastern (not the style) the overall outline or shape is that of a satelight dish and a dream catcher which both can grab our subcontious thoughts and the figures pose is the lotus contemplation/meditation to focus our perceptions, the round dish like form is carved to the I-CHING double feminine meaning receptive. the hair I was thinking static charge or electric like the energy in the air, friction from passing information back and forth at high speeds. server over-load. lots of ways to think of a alagorical work of art the best is your own interpritation. thanks for asking sorry Im sooo slooowwww tooo reply

One of my favorite pieces, for perhaps obvious reasons--I have no advanced critique--sorry. I unloaded this, BTW--she's safely ensconced in your cabinet. Didn't know if you had further treatments, sealing, etc. in mind...
