Description I tried something different with this one. Its something that I've seen Jim Lee's boys at Wildstorm do. Basically you get colored paper and you would ink it like normal and then add highlights and shadows. It makes it look like you did more work than you actually did. Sadly it is unforgiving. honestly I would have messed with Rose's face a bit more had I drawn this on regular bristol.

But now I have a better idea of what to do for the next time I use this style.

I used to see a lot of Timothy Bradstreets work White Wolf in a similar style. His vampire work always seemed so dark. I found out he used black paper and white ink. Tried it a couple of times, but it is a different mindset. More power to you in future works.

Hmm, it would be hard using black paper and white ink...this was easier because I could still use pencils...dark pencils but still pencils. Honestly I just wanted to try something different.

Thank you. Oddly enough I no longer have a computer with photoshop so I'm forced to do stuff in Black & White or grey tones in this case. But I do plan on exploring this style some more.

The computer that I was on couldn't handle PS or the gimp. But now...I'm back on a powerbook which can do the job!

It getting increasingly difficult for my old computer to do the job. It takes a while to render a large pic and I prefer large images.
