The Survey corps doesn't go all out... but Hanji reallllly did insist that we should at least have a nice happy day where no titans can fuck us over. Over the past few years you've received one single rose not like any other, from a mysterious admirer. Kinda creepy yes... and kinda sweet. This year you were so determined to find out who this person was. And if maybe you guys could hook up? Who knows.

“(Name) look at what Eren got me...” You turned around and waved at Mikasa who was holding a huge bouquet of flowers. You giggled into your hands and walked over to her.
“Wow he sure got a lot of flowers this year...”
“Oh if you think this is it...he's got more in my dorm. He decorated my whole bunk...”
“Woooooow that...that is just...”
“Yeah I know... if you'll excuse me I'm going to put these flowers in the ground where they belong.”
“Have fun with that Mikasa!” And off she went.

You smirked and merrily walked towards your room where you found your rose... at the same spot as always. You picked it up and smelled the delicate flower. You've never seen such a rose... But this time... there was a note with it. Your right eyebrow arched and you picked it up willingly.

You clicked your fingers.
“This is from that play... uh what was it called again? Romero and Julete? No no no, ummm... OH Romeo and Juliet! DUH!” You stood in your bedroom for a solid two minutes, trying to figure out who could write this note.
“OH! ARMIN! Of course! He lend me that book a couple times and I fell in love with it. Ah! The way they just die at the end... kay, he's probably at the library, I'll go and ask him!” You babbled in your room. You finally clicked your heels and walked out the door in no time flat.

“Yes...it tortures them... it kills me to see them like that.”

“I have no idea what your t-talking about” At this point Armin's little body backed away from you. He raised his hand covering his face with the Romeo and Juliet book.

You saw a note sticking out of it and grabbed the book away from Armin, making him squeal. You flipped through the pages and it turned out this was another clue.

If tea can't fix it.
  It's serious.

You read the note over and over again... but you couldn't quite understand it. Why all of a sudden? After all these years, why did your secret admirer decide to give you a clue to who he is? You slumped down onto one of the chairs in the library and sulked with the note over your face. You completely forgot Armin was still there.

“(Name)? Are you okay?” The shy blonde muttered.
“Noooooo”
“What's wrong?”
“I have a secret admirer and he's leaving me hints...he wants me to go to the kitchen... the next note's probably in the tea leaves or some shit like that"

Armin gently grabbed the note and read it, his eyes slightly squinting. He soon started to giggle like a school girl.

“Y-yeah, that's probably where it is”

You bolted up fast and stood up, bending a bit to get eye level with Armin.

“Pfft sooo you think you know who it is?”
“Hm... I can't really make it out, I mean everyone in the survey corps likes tea.”

And off Armin went dashing out of the library with his little legs. Hehe little baby legs. You placed your hands on your hips and walked out into the corridors.

You gulped before opening the door to the kitchen.

“Here goes nothing...” You whispered to yourself.

There was no one inside, you hunched your back and just started aimlessly walking around the room. You searched high and low, where the hell did Corporal Levi keep the tea? I could have sworn they were over here last time! You heard the kitchen door creak open, you turned around to face a diminutive, raven haired corporal walking into the kitchen. Could this be? “Oh Hey sir!” You smiled, happy to salute to your superior. He waved it off and walked right past you.
“Tch what are you doing here? Isn't a girl like you suppose to be on a stupid date for valentine's day?” He groaned as he opened a drawer.

You sighed and played with your hair. “I have a secret admirer... I'm trying to find out who he is”

“Yes sir, his next clue is supposedly in the tea. I hope you don't mind helping me find it.”

You saw as Levi stared into your (eye color) orbs. He seemed to be contemplating about whether he should help you or not. You blushed and tensed up when he backed you into the kitchen table.

He doesn't say a single word, he only leaned in closer and closer. His hand reached behind you, at this point you were far from comfortable. Wtf?!? He backed away holding a can of tea leaves, you couldn't stop blushing.

“T-that wasn't THERE BEFORE WHAT THE HELL?!”
“Tch, stupid brat you just need to use your eyes. You oblivious little shit”
“Or maybe you're secretly a wizard, now if you excuse me I'd like to take that can out of your hands!”

You grabbed the can, slightly brushing your fingers with his. Making your face so fucking red it's like someone slapped you. You opened the top and AH HA! Another note! You reached your hand in and gently grabbed a hold of the note. Levi grabbed the can out of your soft hands and set them down beside you. You closed you eyes and whispered

“Please be the last clue”

You opened your eyes and read the note out loud so the stoic superior could hear.

Outside.
  15 steps East,
      10 steps south,
          23 steps West.

“Tch it would just be easier to just forget about this.”

You turned around and faced the door. “No sir. I want to know who this person is-” You turned around dramatically and clasped your hands together.

You adventurously walked outside, following the note's orders...well with the help with a certain corporal.

It took you and the corporal an unusual amount of time but you finally found it. It was fucking amazing, you were at lost for words. You kept mumbling

You stood in a vast meadow of roses. All the same kind, the ones that you've received every year. You fell upon your back and just stared at the sky, with a huge smile across your face.

“I don't THINK Im in love with this guy... I KNOW Im in LOVE with this guy!”
“Tch, you don't even know what love is.” The corporal sat himself down next to you. His eyes wondering the meadow. You sat up and looked at the side of his face as you spoke.
“What do you think now sir? You think he'll show up?”
“Tch I don't know (last name). But he sure has lots of time on his fucking hands.”
“Yeah, but I think it's sweet, when has anyone done something this extreme for you?
“Well you...cadet”

You stood up and brushed nothing off your pants. You tightened your straps and walked towards the middle of the flower patch. There was one last note, and you were sure of it this time. You picked it up and slowly opened it. Your heart was racing.

Even with all these beautiful flowers,
  None can compare to your beauty.
You giggled at the level of chessy-ness and continued to read.

I know you've been waiting for me to arrive,
  but you don't understand...
      I've been here the whole time.

Your eyebrows furrowed as you read the last line

You turned around in an instant. The corporal stood there with his arms crossed. His face dead panned as ever.

You looked back at the note and read it over, and over again. What? This doesn't make sense. You looked around, hoping to find another note. But that was the only one.

“Sir... I-I don't-”

“Flip it over (name).”

(Name)? Since when did the corporal call me by my first name? And flip it over? Why?

You only followed his orders and flipped over the piece of paper. It read

“Sir, I don't understand this one...”

“Tch let me see.” he walked next to you, your shoulders touching. He only took a second to read through the whole note.

“This guy sounds like a little bitch.”

“S-sir?! He sounds like my future fucking husband to me!” You saw the corporal smirk, he gave you the note and headed back to the castle.

“Tch are you coming?”

“W-what? No! Im waiting for him.”

“...cadet I don't think he'll be coming anytime soon. He probably chickened out.”

Your smile disappeared.

“Tch. Stop moping around brat, now how does tea sound?”

You couldn't help but laugh his direction.

You may not have meet your secret admirer, but at least you have Levi.

You laughed at the note until happy tears filled your eyes. At least you know he hasn't given up on you. You gave the rose one last sniff, then you decided to have a nice warm bath as a reward for being a loner for valentine's day once again.
