Hey folks, I'm half dead from this week, so I can honestly say I've gotten nothing done (proof positive that I need my own place). Here's a slightly old one---I'd put it aside until I could think up a background and forgot about it... as you can see, the background thing failed all together
So this is Maurice and his wife, probably before they got married (that or at least before Belle was born). I reckon he's trying to pull her off to see an invention that he's been working on and she thinks it's the cutest thing ever.
Alright, as soon as humanly possible, I promise to get more art (CotT, Harry Potter, and stories... etc...) done. Hope everyone's having a good kick-off to spring
Oh yeah, and.... huh... well I'm still gonna note Disney in this because they own the world anyway.

Aaaawww... that scene! It's so wonderful to imagine a young, enthusiastic and totally-in-love Maurice.
Fine work at Belle's mom since there is a similarity to her daughter, but she does have own features.

So true! ^_^ So many mothers die off in fairy tales, it's rather depressing. I think Belle gets her need for adventure and a stimulating life from her mother

This picture is so beautiful! I especially love Belle's mother, and how she does not look like a carbon copy of her daughter, unlike SOME Disney parents (*cough* ATHENA! *cough* I rectify Athena with my Yocheved, if ya wanna check it out.). And Maurice looks almost handsome when he was young, which I really like!

Yeah, Maurice is really great, isn't he? It's his personality, I think, that's what he's really got going for him. I like to think that when he and Belle's mother met, the first thing he did was crack a joke to make her laugh, or went out of his way to show her an invention, or tried to stand up for her against some bullies (and, sadly, probably failed 'cause he's Maurice, but she would have loved that he tried anyway) or something Mauricey like that.

lol Yeah, that's probably true. ^_^ And I'm pretty sure as many people who dislike Melody (or at least the way they portrayed her) dislike Athena. I won't say she's my least favorite creation, but she---or at least the background of the story could have been greatly improved.

Oooh lol don't worry, initiative is an interesting thing, it's not like you're harassing me to draw or anything ^_^ And I do like her having dark hair, and the crown is very much like Attina's which I love
