Part 2 to my last post.Ended up receiving 3" of snow yesterday and after about 20 minutes of shoveling the front steps and driveway noticed the way the snow collected around the base of one of the trees in the yard.
Really liked how the ivy and the bark looked with snow all together.
There are a couple other shots I'm thinking of doing some quick editing and posting. Yay or Nay?

Yea, it was a tough call at the time deciding which shot to actually use but figured these 2 were different enough that it wouldn't hurt posting. Plus it was fun/interesting playing around with 2 shots of the same subject but with different angles and lighting.
Anyway, looking at the end results of both overall I'm with you on it liking it more. The first one like a friend said does look a little undersaturated. I'm thinking of re-editing it to fix that problem.

well, i actually prefer the darker color of the first one. it looks richer and darker and more... wintry. lol. but the reason i like 2 better is because of the angle and composition. if you had the color scheme of 1 with the actual image of 2, it'd be perfect, imo
