At lunch time, Shuu dutifully locked the infirmary door and pulled open a curtain in the back of the room, untouched by students.

Behind it sat a chest and a table with two chairs. One chair was empty, saved for Shuu himself of course, and in the other loyally sat Hiyoko, who could have almost have been smiling at him (he couldn't quite tell - the blood in the jar was clouding over her face again). Ah, Hiyoko. She was always right there whenever Shuu needed solace, privacy, and intelligent conversation.

Though Hiyoko never actually said anything, Shuu could usually tell what she would have been thinking in her eyes.

Ah, but that was a different story, how well Shuu knew Hiyoko. No, for now, the doctor busied himself with the chest, reaching into it and pulling out two plates and glasses. He pulled the bin he had been recently working in over and scooped out equal portions for both of them, smiling at Hiyoko.

Her eyes smiled back.

As Shuu finished his lunch, he noticed that Hiyoko had once again not eaten a single bite.

He sighed and nudged the plate closer to her. "You should eat something. This isn't very healthy you know."

Hiyoko's eyes seemed to apologize, to say that she just wasn't hungry, that it had nothing to do with his cooking.

"It's okay," the doctor stated. "I'm just a little worried about you is all. You've been acting a little weird. I'm starting to get worried about your mental health."

Hiyoko's eyes seemed to laugh at him now, as if they knew something that he didn't.

Okay, I know that Shuu isn't quite THAT cookoo, but you know.

Oh um.... I don't think this should count as spoilers because as soon as you meet him, you already pretty much know he's gonna gut you.

Oh yes, headcannon time: Okay, so when human!Shuu wants to relax, he takes off his shoes and socks and stuff, because they're probably soaked with blood. I mean, ew, nobody likes to walk around with wet shoes, right?

Second headcannon: Hiyoko looks like Emi from Katawa Shoujo, because she acts like Emi. She's hyper, fun, everybody loves her, and she likes to run and eat a lot. They're like... almost the same person.
