Chapter 14 - The Hunter & Hunted

As time kept passing, more and more bounty hunter's around the universe were all going for the same direction, Devastis where Zim & Tak with their newly rebuilt Sir companion Gir, who couldn't stop running around the house touching everything, much to their annoyance.
"You have the most prettiest house i ever seen!" Gir yelled out, Tak was just sitting on the chair in her backyard and Zim was too busy focusing on making modification to the voot cruiser next to her.
She sighed "Yes Gir, that's the 12th time i heard you said that." she blurted out, becoming quite frustrated by the overhyperactive robot.
She then turned her attention towards Zim, who was still working on his cruiser and the broken PAK.
"What are you doing anyways?" she asked to him sounding quite interested on what he was up to.
He then turned his attention towards her, looking pretty exhausted but somewhat pleased at the same time.
"Trying to see if i can add a few new designs to the cruiser, such as a bit more boost and weaponry i found from your lab earlier, and as for the PAK making it work to contact Gir again no matter where we may be." he said sounding quite tired.
"And who told you you can go into my lab and use of my machinery for your own personal use?" she asked him with a smug look, he then sweatdropped at the thoughts releazing that she was right.
"Well, you see i uh..." Zim was stuck in words, Tak then laughed then sat next to him.
"Nah, it's okay for you to use those things, was just messing with you since there are plenty out of that from the lab, as long as your not using all of it." she said.

The day continued on and a few hours later something caught Tak's attention from the sky, for what seemed to be like a falling star.
"Zim, take a look at this." she said, he got out of the cruiser and noticed it was falling almost close to them, a few miles away though from where they were.
It then suddently crash followed by a loud boom, this made both the Irkens very curious on what it was.
"Should we go check it out?" he asked her with concern, not knowing what or who it may be.
"It's really odd for something to come to this planet, with it being a deserted and all, might as well since it's not likely an Irken coming to visit." she responded back.
They both got on the cruiser along with Gir and went straight to the location of where the crash was, not knowing of the dangers that lie ahead of them.

Upon reaching the crash site, their curiosity only grew seeing the structure that was before them.
It was a ship, but unknown the them since the design didn't seem Irken, they were both afraid to know of what was in store for them.
Soon it opened and came out some sort of reptilian, standing on both his two feets with some type of black armor, his skin covered by scales and twice the size of a normal Irken, perhaps almost the same exact size as the Tallests.
He looked down on the two petrified Irkens and spoke first.
"Are one of you what they call Zim?" he asked pretty hesistant, his voice bringing fear and yet somewhat curiosity on the two.
"That would be me, sir." Zim said, coming closer to the beast.
"I am Qael, from the Planet Reptilia." he said with a very proud honorable voice as he looked up, he continued.
"And i have come for your bounty Zim, as requested from the Tallest of the Irken Armada." he said to the shocked Irken, who was now taking more and more steps back along with Tak.
They could not believe what just had been conspired, the Tallest betrayed Zim and set out to end him permanently.
"Please, do not try to resist and i will make this as painless as possible." Qael said as he was pointing his weapon dangerously towards Zim, stepping closer to the Irken.
Tak then suddently jumped in and kicked the weapon off his hand to the ground, catching him off guard.
"Zim, run!" she screamed out, they both ran straight for the cruiser while Qael went to get his weapon.
Before he managed to take another aim it was already took late for him, they were already out of sight.

Meanwhile back in outer space, Dib was on his way to the planet Devastis which was recently announced by the Tallest of Zim's location, he couldn't help but slightly kept getting the same echo in his mind, making him feel somewhat guilty at the same time of his actions.
"Because i love her Dib, something you cannot comprehend, and she loves me back, all we ever wanted was to have a life together and your ruining it for me and her!" kept repeating in his mind, for he knows what it feels like to be betrayed by your own people and be left alone.
He eventually snapped out of it.
"No they are invaders, they should deserve death for attempting to destroy my planet!" he lied to himself, hoping that it would clear the guilt of the pain he may have caused to the couple.
"Reaching Devastis in two hours." the cruiser's computer suddently announced, snapping him back to reality.
