This is my July entry for . This month's theme was food (design an outfit based on food that is).This took me quite a long time. Mostly because I went through three different designs and sketches before I came to this one. I was really stuck on this month's theme, and apparently a lot of the other contestants were as well. It was far more difficult to come up with something for this month's entry than it did for the bathing suit round!
So, what did I come with exactly?
I designed an outfit for Lyekal based on what I think is one of the prettiest fruits ever--the rainier cherry.Β The rainier cherry is both red and gold, and not only is it beautiful, but it's also delicious.
I've been working on the art itself on and off for a week or so; I've been having issues within my family which prevented me from working on this as much as I wanted to, and the lack of internet connection doesn't help. My wifi's been cutting out, so I'm lucky that I have a small window to post this!Β
I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. I really liked the shading and highlights on her dress.
