Description
For Deviantart's 18th birthday. An experiment in digital art and maybe cell shading-the linear just looked like it lends itself nicely to shading with big blocks of color, though all of the examples on the event page are great examples of smoother shading and digital. I was going to do this with markers instead, and I have a printed copy on the printer right next to me, and that debatably would have been faster...oh well. I'll probably still do it as an excuse to practice with markers, but not for a while...got real life stuff to do (bluh). Also an experiment with a somewhat-limited color palette (although it still got a little out of hand)-with a few exceptions, I tried to go back and re-select previous shades of each color I used with the dropper tool rather than just going for approximations or picking whatever.
