And this is why I don't normally work with paint. Details, such as the eyes and some shading, were done with colored pencils. Not quite the lighting effect I was going for, but at least it was quick.

This is my character Lucinda, who...was probably influenced by Miku, hence the hair. She is in some sort of lotus temple. I don't have may story details figured out yet. The lotus is from Hindu symbolism and the color scheme is inspired by the frog temple in Homestuck (it was only afterward that I realized how striking the contrast between the pink and the green was).
