the icons is avalible for vista as far as i know.. tho i dont know if theres any pack for it.. should be iconpackager

this theme is awesome. but i think you should really make the text in the task bar darker. its hard to tell what windows i have open in the task bar.

Oddly when I use styleselector my minimize/maximize and close buttons won't change, but I have no problem when doing it manually with "Window Color and Appearance"

Great theme indeed. I was wondering though how I could change the text color of the taskbar - I'm not a fan of aliased text, and the default font with antialiasing on makes it really hard to read.
Furthermore on my laptop the gamma changes so fast that basically light grey becomes white when I put the task bar at the bottom.
Anyway, if I could change this color to darken it a bit in order to have more contrast, it'll be swell.
Oh and I'm also not such a fan of the scrollbars as they are now - there is no sense of how big is the page compared to the whole document.

i have done all the steps you need to do (go to vista sp1 and patch the uxtheme stuff)
But for some odd reason the theme gets applied, but the vista orb doesnt change to the new style's start button...
do you know what the problem is? (themes like slanxp and zune work)

It's a great piece of work, however, what disappoints me is the fact that there is no transparency where WPF is used.

its a great theme...i have te gaia theme make for my nokia n73 for a few month...and i had also the GAIA theme on my windows xp machine...

While the scrollbar is an interesting alternative, the problem is that when the list is too long, (like the windows directory, the scrollbar becomes invisible.

i know about that. its cuz i had to tweak the glyphs, and they dissapear if the list gets to long.. but hey.. u have a scroll on ur mouse? ^^

Well, it could have been better if the menus and the Favourite Links bar in Explorer windows are skinned; and I could very much prefer a non-hiding shellstyle, actually. It appears many of the better, minimal Vista visual styles suffer from some combination of the above problems.
Other than that, this is definitely among some of the more tasteful visual styles I have seen.

well u cant actully skin the favorite links bar.. u can only change color as far as i know.
and i like the autohide shellstyle. makes it more minimal.. and since i never use that bar i dont see why it should be there all the time.
and its rly easy to change that urself if u dont want it
i cant just make different things cuz a cupple of ppl want it when theres like so many more that like it as it is. thats kinda the big deal with minimalistic themes.. that u dont have to much stuff showing.
