"If you are kidding then you had better have a good reason to be fucking with me"Persephone tends to immediately take on a hostile stance to people who are needlessly mean to others- she's almost like a protector except she's also quite closed and difficult to become friends with. Like most Alt-Eal, she tends to be quite strong with her opinions, too. Thus, she often comes off stubborn and is quite protective of herself- she's not a fighter, but she'll definitely retaliate to any verbal abuse, in her own cold way (Seph barely ever shouts.)
This also illustrates how the Alt-Eal wings bend backwards. This is a defense mechanism to protect the hidden eye, which happens to be above the Alt-Eal's second brain. The wings are also used by the Alt-Eal to climb on their homeplanet, which is very rugged and mountainous. The 'thumbs' at the first joint are extremely flexable, but are also very strong. Despite the wings' apparent thin structure, they are quite strong.
That expression was fun to do, hurr hurr.

I just finally noticed this again & realized I'd been getting the wings backwards.... but it makes sense, as they're no longer for flight but adapted to a different purpose.

God, she looks so beautiful. I really adore this character, Saik. 
The wings look really unique, usually most go with dragon/bat/feathered wings but this one just stands out amongst the rest.

The way she looks here, definitely seems to reflect her personality, though the reddish background implies some sort of hidden warmth which might come with being protective and what not, I guess. XD;
Anyway, like you have probably heard more than enough already, this race you've created seems really fascinating. ^^

Oh, I love her personality! Her pose is great... the whole stand-offish way about her despite being in a harem is a first. It's very good that she still has much dignity and also is protective of the weak. She'd make an awesome mother really.
Whether you win or not, you have a beautiful and fun race that you'll be able to do alot with. Persephone is a lovely character. I personally like her alot.

Thanks C: Well, I mean, I don't think it's really all that likely that they would all just get along with each other- coming from different species, backgrounds stories and all. I suppose maybe Persephone feels a need to be mature, but can be a bit too harsh about it sometimes. I'm not sure about her being a mother though XD I'm not sure what she would think of children XD
