A picture of Zryin and her colleagues from the older days, when she was still learning her trade. I was really just having fun with designs, but I like a few of these now XD So I'm developing a little.

So, Zryin originally specialized in biology, which she excelled at. Out of all her friends, she was the only one who had the capacity to specialize in several fields later on, expanding her abilities in physics and engineering later on. She wasn't exactly a prodigy- she just knew how to learn well and worked harder than anyone, because it was what she enjoyed. Once she was stationed in the imperial labs on Vort, she only kept in contact with two of the lot you see here. One of them is now dead. The Zryin you see here is also dead, her legacy now carried on by her clones.

The young woman to her left is Arna Veterk.
Arna was an engineer, but is now dead. She was killed as collateral during a firefight at her station on Vort, when the resistance tried to take back an important outpost. No-one could tell later whether or not she was hit by an irken or one of her own. She was pretty good with ships, but overall an average worker.

Behind them is Mavoya Geiss, still alive and established as a resistance genetic researcher. Right from her younger days Mavoya took a keen interest in genetics, namely how she could produce chemicals that caused the genetic structure to produce different growths. It wasn't long until she started taking one of her own serums, which by the time she was 200 had provided her with an extra pair of small arms and some abnormal horn growths. She continues to take the serum and now stands at 7 foot tall, both sets of arms fully grown. It has been her objective to get back in touch with the rest of the group who are still living.

On the right of Mavoya at the back is Ecta Plass, a physicist. She was always fond of energy research, and loves seeing the results of chain reactions, converting one form of energy to the next. Ecta is also umongst the dead, killed during an explosion caused by one of her reactors shortly after being stationed on Vort. Reportedly her last words were "I hope I get to see the building collapse too!"

The tall, dark one beside her is Analya Rein, a talented neurosurgeon and expert. Her younger brother was born with cerebral palsy, giving Analya an objective from the start. Ever since, she has been trying to find ways to fix disabilities stemming from abnormal brain development, and has been having a surprising amount of success. So much, in fact, that she has been commissioned by the irken high council to find out how the slower pituitary gland growth of the ancients was ousted from current irken clone growth, meaning irkens are living for successively shorter lifetimes. So long as it means she can continue her research, Analya doesn't care whether it is irkens or vortians employing her.

Rictera Wult followed the path of nuclear physics, not a particularly safe field, but a rewarding one. The irkens didn't particularly care about the effects of gamma radiation, meaning Rictera was free to experiment freely and as she liked for a very long time. The gamma ray exposure has ended up giving her cancer several times. The problem is, once cured, she just compulsively goes back to her research. She has been cured of cancer three times as of the current storyline, and though sobered by the loss of several parts of her body, she keeps researching in the hopes of perfecting the art of gaining energy from nuclear power without the harmful side-effects and volatile conditions it produces.

The short one with the long horns is Marya Sou, and beside is her sister, Meem Sou. Meem was killed by an irken soldier on the same day that Zryin managed to escape her station on Vort. She was young, and a promising engineer/programmer, acting as Zryin's apprentice for a long time, right up until her premature death. Marya, her older sister, still remains on Vort-- her problem is, Marya didn't inherit any of the prowess her sister possesses. Infact, the way she has made is so far is because she is brilliant at stealing other people's inventions and plans, hacking computer systems or manipulating her information sources. Zryin currently uses her to find out the current events on her home planet, in return for helping Marya with several projects, keeping her in a comfortable position.

... I love making up characters 9.9 Out of all the new ones here though, I like Analya the best CB
