When Diamond crusher first came to Ponyville, Banana 'cookie' split and Camille welcomed him with a big welcoming cake! But... in truth.. he hates sweets.
He can tolerate them if it is accompinied by wine, coffee or tea. But unless he has those drinks, he HATES sweets. Alas, Diamond is too polite to decline, and since he knows that sweets are Cookie's, and pinkie pie's entire life, he pretends to like them, but cannot help but make a face when he eats them.

Cookie and Camille love to make it a game and feed Diamond all the sweets in sugar cube corner and watch him politely suffer. Whenever cookie has a new menu, she chases Diamond to taste test them first, much to his dismay.
