Very good my friend. Of course you know I like that one. I'd like to see you spend an afternoon and remake that using GI or Finalk Gather. When all the SSS shader stuff gets hammered out the Iris petals will really sing off of there. It's a good image though, I think you got the most out of the Renderer you could.

hehe.. it's SOOOO old though.. I think if I were to do a flower in mental ray I'd just start over. There's much I'd do differently now.. the shading network for that flower was A MESS.

Well then start over there Cap'n. I know, KNOW, you can do better than this now. So much better that I would bet money on it and I ain't a bett'n man. So let's see it in action. Can Master Ken make the flower action happen. The world waits to see....
