Ruling a country is hard work, and sometimes, a ruler just likes to take the time to drop into a bath of hot water and let her considerable mane down. She probably shouldn't have dunked it underwater first... it takes so long to draw. Unless she just cheats and uses the sun. It does explain those sudden heat waves...
Playing with posing again, especially the tail and wing. Looking at it after I was done, I wished I'd made the mane flow over the edge of the tub better as well.

I always imagined Celestia's mane to change color in water like you see in some of those toy commercials. Maybe it would be dyed like Mayor Mare turning back into pink?
I have to say I love the ripple effects you have going on in the water where her body intercepts the surface. Also the outline you have around Celestia's body doesn't seem to be a definite purple. Did you plan that, because it really does fit her god stature.
Your posing looks excellent to me, but I would have suggested you try having the other wing lay off the opposite edge for more of a challenge, but that's just me. I like it, nice job!

The outline came out like that because it was a purple, and then I traced over it again with white, making it a bit diluted. I just really liked the idea of that big multicolored mane wet and hanging out of the tub.
I can see what you mean by having the other wing, and if I had thought about it, I would have done it. Thank you very much for the comment and suggestions!
