The first rule to follow when being in combat with a Wookiee was to never go unarmed and be quick. Now, Ben was neither armed nor could he move as quickly as he had preferred to. He just hoped that whatever followed would be quick and painless. The Wookiee approached Ben swiftly, gesticulating expressively with his long, strong arms while bending forward as he cried out his throat with numerous words and expressions Ben had difficulties to understand. I should have kept working on my Shyriiwook skills.

“Chewie! No, wait!” Rey unsuccessfully intervened. Chewbacca purely ignored her and forced her aside with ease, focused on the man who killed his companion, his friend. Ben bent down low in defence, raising his hands into the air as much as his aching body let him to protect himself. One never knew what a Wookiee was up to, especially when it was in rage. He closed his eyes. “Ch-Chewie,” Ben carefully tried to speak up, but his voice was as if wiped out. [...]
