It's a thing I was planning on implementing in a comic
So the idea is that the person has died or been fatally injured to where they can't be saved by normal means
The process where the person is reanimated is called being "Stitched"
The person's head is removed from the neck and "something"Β happens
then it gets sewn back on, and they're essentially a zombie or something of the sort
though in the comic, (or atleast the idea) "zombie" is a derogatory term, and the proper word is "scarred"
yeah I guess that's it sort of written really sloppily with a bunch of gaps

curiously I just watched Futurama today and the episode it aired was when Fry was dating with Amy and his body got injured in a car crash an Zoiberg sew Fry's head on Amy's body, then at the end of the episode he sew his head back to his body. :U
