ionic: right off the bat it should be obvious ionic is inspired by sonic, hes a fan character of course. believe it or not both the character and the name came to me in a dream back when i was probably 12 but only 2 years later did i actually decide to make him into a character and draw him. when i drew him i started off as making him a red hedgehog but then added weird things, like i gave him green spikes all along his back like a dragon, um... i also gave him shadows stripes but they would fade in and out depending on his mood, and that was because i thought his tail changing colors was a dumb idea. yea yea that was a dumb idea i know but the shoes..... man... the shoes were BEAST! i F#@king loved his shoes, but they were much more complex back then. now days i just kept the main concept of metal shoes, with rubber souls, and 2 to 4 retractable ivory or metal claws. they are there to improve grip believe it or not as well as weapon.

as for powers... i fell right into the Marty-stu trap. IONIC!!! 10x faster than Sonic. has his own dimension where he fights KeGGMan ... WTF was i thinking? in the story i was planning it seems ionic was doing more work than the canon characters in "their" universe...

in that story i also had ionic save all of the canon characters as well which was unnecessary. i even had ionic have a crush on amy but i was smart not to force her to like him back, i made it so amy sticks to chasing sonic and ionic would eventually have to get real and find his own girlfriend which i thought was realistic so im keeping that one.i mean if he did actually get amy some how wouldn't that be so called "unoriginal?" but that would be hypocritical, mean if sugar TH can *i think...* marry shadow and Venus can Date sonic and get away with it without problems from fans then i don't think a little crush on a canon character is a bad thing.

So what did i learn,fix, and who is ionic to this day? well hes a cool kid whos like a real person. he wasn't born with natural powers like millions of other characters out there, doesn't have a tragic past, but he has lots of equipment, mainly the armor and elemental powers obtain externally. but he has to learn how to use each and every one of them as well as fighting and general skills. the way his team works is he has to find various sorts of technology to help upgrade him and his team. this means random recon missions going planet to planet to find what may be useful. this could even result to stealing since team razor are scavengers, but mainly from baddies. the team only gets stronger as long as he does so he has a lot of weight on his shoulders and must set a good example for everyone else. they also need to find ways to make money as building gadgets isnt free.

i try to make ionic the least flashy as possible without being boring or blending in with generic sonic FCs. i try to make "every single thing" make sense because it REALLY gets to me when i run into characters out their who must rely on magic powers or gems... or is born with powers that seem to come out of no where and can beat everyone like its friggin dragonball z.

And i try to make him a 3 dimensional person you know making him act like how a real person would but is very scatterbrained. his story doesn't require sonic *for the most part* and can also blend in with other users characters. ionic is to have full customization with absolutely everything to be as fun and as likable as can be. have i succeeded in your eyes?
