Well the background freak in me is back... and guess what, this time she's really run riot ^^The unusual thing about this picture is that it was fully done on the computer, from scratch, even the characters. Usually I sketch a picture on paper first and scan it in and colour it in Photoshop. No refs used - just fresh impressions from the walk in the forest last Sunday ^^
These two are my characters, but I won't tell anything else about them

it kind of is - you can just see a little bit of his boot between the girl's boots. And honestly, this was the easiest and quickest bg ever - I've done grass so many times it kind of happened authomatically. Just some painting in Photoshop as you'd do with a real brush, then Finger Tool for tweaking. So don't curse me, anyone can do it! ^^

Ahh, photoshop is still a place of much mystery to me. Maybe I'll get a graphics tablet for this Xmas... This year, I have decided, is to be the year of the coloured pencils!
