another "always" piece, but in japanese this time. LOLS XDsince it's been ages since i last drew/painted i felt i wasn't really sure of what i was doing.
me: "i've forgotten how to paint!"
~blacksmith25 : "relax. it's just like riding a bike."
me: "BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE A BIKE!!"
~blacksmith25 : "THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!"
i seriously don't know how he puts up with me, but i'm sure thankful he does.
(snippet from blog: it's not really my best work -- consider it a transitional piece as i get my gears back in order.) anyway, here it is! please be kind. ^__^

This is amazing. One of my favorite Sev/Lily pictures on the site (but then I always love your pictures). I just never respond anymore. I cannot use watercolors myself, so I really respect your great talent with them. This is really simply beautiful. I love that we cannot see their faces. It really almost makes me want to cry, it's very lovely. Severus is so content, it's sweet seeing him like that.
I'm feeling inspired to write myself, too. Thank you for this marvelous picture. I cannot wait to see what you have in store when you remember how to paint, because this is gorgeous.

This is beautiful, and I love the cropping - sometimes showing less is telling more. It's so - subdued, yet there is so much behind it.
Also, I think I kind of forgot how to ride a bike. Scary.
