Description
This is how my scanner sees pencil scetches >_>;;But anywho, meet Michavelle. He's a personal character of mine, who doth kick much ass. Too bad flames went and got himself cursed by lightning. It's a long back story, but here's Michavelle in a nutshell:
He is the Guardian of flame in my currently unnamed novel, and is /not/ a main character. Without going into details (as there is simply no room) he was cursed by my main character as a form of vengeance. Let's just say that he deserved it, and is now rightfully regretting his past actions, and this curse is what makes him look the way he does.
If you didn't notice, he has no pupils. He never did, but the orbs of his eyes used to be filled with a brilliant fire, and now only contain wisps of smoke. The Guardians of Flames are replaced in a way far different from that of most gods; they have lifespans, and eventually burn out. Their eyes are basically a window to their life's fire, and though young, Michavelle is on the verge of ashes.
A fun little side-note: Before he was cursed, he fed his flames with the souls of his worshipper's sacrifices, but being kind-hearted, he only burnt those who had commit terrible crimes against his follower's (and his) beliefs. Because of this, he became the God that was nicknamed 'Hell'. whee!
The actual sketch: Rough. Enough said. I have yet to fix his uneven eyes, but as this is a scrap, I can't really bring myself to care. O_o; I love the asymmetrical symetry of his silvery hair, and the feathery things on top of his head amuse me as well. His pauldrons don't, however. One is bigger. Much bigger. nothing is shaded, and this sketch is simply that: a sketch. And the thing on his shoulder is basically a moth//snake//squirrel thing that I have yet to name.
I never disable critique, but this is pretty much up just for viewing purposes. If you have something to add to my list of errors, though, feel very free to compile. = )
