Description Har, har thanks WT for the perfect title.
This is my character Portia from my novel. She hasn't been written into it, being the slow, critical writer I am, however she's been developing in my mind for over a half year.

Character Sketch:
She's clever, genius, gorgeous and a bit sinister; however, as malicious as she is, her heart isn't coal. In the Renaissance realm she is a performer; an opera singer and elusive aristocrat. She is the 'mother vampire' of her servile Philippe, Sebastiana, and a few others. She atleast understands that those worthy of vampirism are few and rare; and as Sebastiana discovers, when you are, it doesn't matter if you want to be a vampire or not, Portia gets what she wants!

These are just outlines of her; she's far from being done, and won't be till I write her in. It will be much more intricate. Hohum...I should post some of it one day as much as I draw the characters.

Yeh, she's not in Renaissance garb...hahah, she wears what she wants and perhaps its her in more modern times, rose-crusher!

Copics and reference from a Royo pose (but not fully). ^_^

Once again it looks great. You did a great job on the coloring. I love her dress and stockings.

I daresay; this is one of my favourite designs you've done to date (and I have a feeling I've said this to you in the past ^^: ). Portia just has a really strong presence; you can really see it in her body language and confident expression. Her hair really flows gorgeously, and I love her dress; you've drawn it very well. The shoes are just adorable with the ballerina-esque straps, and the rose-crushing is such a good touch. Definitely going to have to get this one up my wall.

Aw, thanks! I'm glad you like it because I really like it also!!! xO However, others seemed to have overlooked it unfortunately, but I'm glad you liked it. xD

Believe me, I know how it feels when something you're proud of gets overlooked...granted; I'm rather belated, but even from the thumbnail I knew it was something absolutely striking.

That is a beautiful dress that she's wearing! Her hair is so well drawn like this. I also like how you posed her as well.

I love it. It's super stunning. You've got quite a hand with copics. I like how you made seperate entities of sky and land.

And if I should even dare give some constructive criticism on this I would just say to make the shoe tip a little longer to give it a real fit for toes.

Thanks! I'm trying to make my characters less stiff. Damn, shoes...I think I made her hoofers a little big in general.
