Description
This is not a stamp telling you to stop. This is just a warning of what I, and a lot others, will inevitably think of you.People writing comments like this all the time.
How about I just skim through what you just wrote because it must not be all that interesting ey? We know we love the fine print.
Hey, all I want to do is just want to READ what you're saying.
And without having to squint a little, is that ok?
Using it to enunciate humour in your text, or shrinking the font to show that your text isn't really important as the rest of the text is are some good uses. Heck, I use it for my journals too because they're so long a lot of the time and stretch my page to China, nor are they really important anyway. I used to think it was an artistic quirk to stylise your font like this.. but gosh, why not just stick your fashion labels and trendy haircuts in while you're at it. You know those girls/guys at school, they're practically drones by the way they look.
Honestly, I've been hearing around that it gets on a lot of peoples nerves. But c'mon. Comments, deviations, everywhere, what are you trying to prove, really?
P.S Squinting causes wrinkles
[edit ; I'd like to add, this phenomenon I am most concerned with is the "friendship groups", less the individuals per se. It really gives the impression you're excluding everyone from your ever-so-awesome circle, and I don't like the taste of it.

It's usually used by girls who think they are so original. They are so much original that they can't use the same things as everyone else, so they use small text.

Tell. Me. About. It.
And I see their age on their profile is 13.
Let's be different and use exactly what my cool friends are using.
Awesome of you for showing me you're a better dA user than me.
Thank you and goodnight.

No, they were my friends of the same age as me, but I'm getting sick of people like them xD
They don't have to try to be super uber original in every step, including stupid DA text too.

Lol I dunno about originality, the two different friendshippy groups I've seen it with were in the Invader Zim Fandom P: How it's original to make characters and draw them in the same style and have them all with vicious blood-thirsty traits is beyond my mental capability.

If you have to squint to read that then dude, get your eyes tested. You either need to get glasses or... get stronger glasses.

I can sort of see where you are coming from, but, I normally don't use it for those reasons though, I mainly use it because well, I like how the font looks itself when it is smaller. The font isn't that small though, Unless they Do things like this Then it annoys me, But I guess, I sort of like it when people talk like this? I don't know why, I always have. >:U

I just prefer the way it looks as opposed to the standard-sized text. :B Looks nicer, in my opinion.
And this is going to seem funny, but it better suits my tone of voice, too. I'm a melancholy-phlegmatic person, so I speak rather calmly, and the subtext is read that way in my mind. So it just feels right to me. In my head, the other size is perceived with a louder, more enthusiastic tone. Which isn't me. At all.
I hope that makes sense...
^ Whispering, hehe.

Exactly! I agree with you. It looks rather neat when it's a little smaller like that.
Same with my voice, too. Not really that calm, but I always get people saying "Your voice is soft." and yeah. c:
But exactly how do you type these small text without using a lot? Is these some kind of automatic option to have small text? xD

You have to type ub> every time. Which is poopy. I think there should be an option to enable it at all times, even though I hardly use it anymore. Some peeps still do.

Eh, that's okay. That's fine. I'm not going to be using it a lot, anyway.

You just type a bunch of times.
It's impossible to read as is but you can copy and paste it to see what it says.

Hmm.. You seem to have your reasons then, I can deal with them P: Because thereon when you mentioned it, I could read that tone in your writing. Also because of the tone of your words too. A lot of the people I've seen with the tiny-text, I personally feel, have this sorta snarky air to them. Like the tone someone in the back of the room uses when someone just made a comment.
But I wish I could see all the reasons of the other people! It just seems to run around in friendship groups a lot, and that's what bugged me enough to make the stamp. They're in their groups, sectoring themselves like their own personal elites. I'll add this to my Artist Comment, thank you for inspiring this thought
Still it ain't doing well for my eyes but I guess the next person to argue will just tell me to go copy+paste or get a better monitor lol

It doesn't do me good, either. But as said, it's kinda neater to look at and suits some people's personalities or voice tones.Β
Well, when I see other people do these, it doesn't bother me at all, in any way. But I guess it bothers some people too.
I'm sorry if you have to deal with this thing, it's.. Well, it's a thing! :I
nvm carry on

Oh, yay. I love inspiring people. Glad you understood what I meant.
And yep, you're right. I've seen that, too. I can't think of any other reason behind it aside from trying to look cool, smart, snarky, etc. like you stated. This especially applies to people who seem to always have a ten foot stick up their ass.
But anyway, sorry for hurting your eyes. Dx

I know ;A;
I have to wear glasses and I have to take them off to be able to read, and that makes my myopia even worse and hurts my eyes like hell
