Description
This is not a stamp telling you to stop. This is just a warning of what I, and a lot others, will inevitably think of you.People writing comments like this all the time.
How about I just skim through what you just wrote because it must not be all that interesting ey? We know we love the fine print.
Hey, all I want to do is just want to READ what you're saying.
And without having to squint a little, is that ok?
Using it to enunciate humour in your text, or shrinking the font to show that your text isn't really important as the rest of the text is are some good uses. Heck, I use it for my journals too because they're so long a lot of the time and stretch my page to China, nor are they really important anyway. I used to think it was an artistic quirk to stylise your font like this.. but gosh, why not just stick your fashion labels and trendy haircuts in while you're at it. You know those girls/guys at school, they're practically drones by the way they look.
Honestly, I've been hearing around that it gets on a lot of peoples nerves. But c'mon. Comments, deviations, everywhere, what are you trying to prove, really?
P.S Squinting causes wrinkles
[edit ; I'd like to add, this phenomenon I am most concerned with is the "friendship groups", less the individuals per se. It really gives the impression you're excluding everyone from your ever-so-awesome circle, and I don't like the taste of it.

The smaller font looks neater to me, for some reason.

People i've seen the tiny font at gave me a feeling of superiority towards me,which i hate
They seem to talk in a proud way and seem to care very much about their image, making them look stupid..
The way i type is weird too sometimes, when i let a space between phrases(makes it neater and easier to read i think) and the huge amount of dots "..." usually, also overloaded with emotes
The good thing about tiny font in my opinion is that it gives a feeling of discipline and clearness and may also look cute in some ways,if not drown in selfish words

Yeah, see it can be as you said, degrading, and then cute I'm only hear to complain about the negative connotations with this stamp though so I must sound pretty darn mean with this hehe.
No worries with the content of what you type, I talk weird a lot too!

Haha SOmetimes I use it, but only because it makes me feel like myself, since I'm quite short. Also, I love typing on word using italics because i write slanty. Still, i love how you made the stamp's background blend into the dA website background.
Good work!!!

Not a fan, either. I know many people say it suits them or reflects their personality, but I don't get personality vibes or make judgement calls from a font. It's the words that tell me about a person, not the size of their text.

Exactly. If I want to think you are cool, prove you're cool from the way you use the words! For the reasons that it tells your tone.. ok. But if you think you've got what it is to be Elitist, then you're gonna have to work on it yourself and don't cheat yourself that way. Because that's more of a skill than adding in every message you make!

well, if you use firefox, the small print isn't that hard to read at all. but yeah, always using small print is kinda annoying.
i typically only use it for sidenotes and stuff cuz i'm cool like that. and since i'm taking html and css class at school i can say to everyone i actually know how to use tags other than small, bold, underline, italics, and other dA specific tags.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
irradiation In reply to guitarcraze [2011-03-09 07:41:38 +0000 UTC]
Google Chrome, bb.
Yeah, sidenotes, signatures, journals, whatever. I adore the other tags though, bold, italics, strikethrough.. but heck I don't use them much.
Maybe next time I see someone who types in mini-font I could type to them just like this.

People think I'm freaky because I write in italics all the time, so... I suppose this stamp kinda is what people think of me, but as if I care. I have my reasons, good or not
Still, I have always thought that the small font looks much better Opinions are opinions
I still get the idea of the stamp... and can agree with it to certain point, even if it sounds weird.

Agreed! I only use small text in my signature and in a few places on my page, but that's about it. I find it weird to use it all the time in normal text/messages.
Although sometimes I add a PS message at the bottom in subtext, but not usually.
