Nice shot. Boy, these woods have like a creep looking feel to them.

Looks better with it a bit overexposed like that. Very beautiful shot

I think that the exposure is spot on. If you had exposed for the highlights, you would have lost shadow detail, and this photo's details are in the shadowy areas.

I think that this is my favorite comment I've received so far on this site. Thank you! By the way I got that yahoo request thing, walked away from it, and it was gone when I came back. I'm not sure if it went through.

well, I'm flattered.
I like to give poetic comments when I can think, but sometimes I have to settle on critique.
I got some requests on yahoo, but I don't know them and I didn't know your name then, so I guess we'll see what happens. I just had a conversation with someone who wanted to 'trade pics' -not going to happen-. -deleteit,goodbye.
So your name's Heather. My sister's name is Heather.

That's creepy. I don't talk to people much (even online) so that sort of thing hasn't happened to me. Seems Heather's a good name then. Nice to "meet" you, Timothy.

I don't talk to people online either, I was just curious to see if I knew this person, I didn't.
Last time I talk to someone I don't know online.
Yeah, I guess Heather is a good name.
Nice to meet you too, "Heather"

Not having much conversation can be lonely, but I find that often when I attempt to talk to others, it's quite regrettable. What's the case with you, if you don't mind my asking?

No case or reason why. I just live on an 'island' it seems, too far from my friends to visit or to call. I kind of put myself in isolation, but sometimes want to get out. Since all of the people that know me know that I like to be alone, they don't make an effort to contact me. When I want to get out it seems that everyone happens to be busy, which I understand, with work and all.
I have lived this way, alone and distant, for most of my adult life. Well, I'm not completely alone, I live with my parents, but they work most of the time, so I spend my days alone. I wake up and no one is here, and they don't come home until dark and just eat dinner and watch TV. I would like to go out sometimes but when they get home they want to just relax, which I understand.
I had a major accident a few years ago and had to move back in with the folks, and have been stuck here ever since. I got hit by a truck(I was walking)and was hospitalized for over a month with a brain injury. The doctors recommended that I move in with someone who can take care of me, and since I didn't have anything going on at that time, had no other choice really.

Most of your adult life? So how old are you? It sounds like you must get bored sometimes. And you have been through a lot in your life.

I'm 28. I've been doing this 'solitude' thing since I graduated from High School. Although I've never lived alone, I have spent most of my time alone. Living with friends but staying at home most of the time. I would work a few days a week to make enough for rent+utilities and food. I never did like working much.
Yeah, I get bored., but I am quite used to this.
I have a few hobbies, but this isn't very fulfilling. I don't want to draw much anymore, and I should. My pen box has dust on it. Some days I don't want to do anything, like today; I didn't get out of bed until 2pm, I just kept going back to sleep. I had a nice dream where I had to choose between a bunch of kittens, though. And I visited my old neighborhood with my older brother that I haven't seen in 14+ years.
I have been through much more than that simple auto accident, but I don't want to get into all of that right now.

That's a long time. Working does suck if you aren't lucky enough to find something that you enjoy. Sounds like you've got a bit of depression going on. I have a hard time finding motivation for things as well. Nice dream. What kitten did you choose? I sure hope it was the orange one on the left. I've got some sisters that I haven't seen for about the same amount of time. I believe I'm finding you interesting because I can relate to you. Then again, since I don't really relate to anyone I could be grasping at straws here. Who can really tell, anyway?

That's just the thing, I couldn't really choose. Every time I found and picked up one that I liked, I would come across another one that was cuter or had a better pattern. I ended up walking away, I think. (the ends are always fuzzy)
You could say that I am a bit depressed by nature, I've felt this way most of my life.

If I were a dream interpreter I'd think that the dream was telling you that you can't always be waiting for something better to come along, because then you'll end up nothing.
Good thing I'm not a dream interpreter.
I've felt 'that way' most of my life too.
