It was foggy out today, causing the photograph to appear slightly painted. No effects were used and only minor editing (increasing contrast) was done.Related content

I particularly like the environment and light this was shot in. The reeds and grasses give it a "real" feeling.

I always say, with wildlife, if you can make out an eye, especially a pupil/iris, and it's reasonably sharp, you done well.

Yeah I like that. It's really nice. When fog is subtle like that, gives a natural glow that usually DOES take fifteen minutes of layer work. It's much more interesting when it's natural.
