Inspired by Jakia's awesome fic By Blood.Azula looks different now, with her hair disheveled and her face coated with blood and dirt and tears, but a part of him reluctantly admits that she’s never looked more human than she does at this moment, her head cradled in her mother’s arms as the world ends around her. Her breathing is scattered and torn and she’s terrified, because she’s dying, dying, dying…

I love coloring blood! XD
This was very hard to draw... I didn't like how it turned out in the end but if I kept changing it I'd have never finished it. I worked too much in the faces and forgot the bodies (the poses look awkward and arg!) that's why I decided to use shots of the faces instead of showing just the whole piece...
I love a challenge, and this was freaking hard u_u I hope it doesn't suck so much...

In the morning, Ursa was going to the Boiling Rock. Once there, she would be going barricade herself into her ex-husband's cell and she would then spend the next three days teaching him everything she had ever learned about pain. Finally, her disgust that the beast that had abused her babies for so long was still alive impelled her to slit open his jugular veins and sit there for the required twenty or so minutes for him to bleed out, screaming for her to have mercy on him all the while.
That was tomorrow. Tonight, her children, her poor, battered, abused children, needed her to be with them more than anything else.

I love Zuko's expression. It's the look of someone who's heart is breaking. Even though they may strongly dislike each other, I think Zuko still feels toward her in a brotherly fashion. I think. I hope. Awesome peice though. Zuko's full body postion does look a little awkward, but Azula and Ursa look great.
