This is a nice photo to begin with, very clear, striking, and precise. When taking pictures of birds you usually have to be patient and wait for the right moment when they happen to move their heads the way you desire and I would say that you caught this one in that right moment, which is the alert predator keeping watch for the next potential meal.
The only thing that I really would hack to nit-pick on would have to the title for this photo. This is most definitely a hawk and not a buzzard. Not sure if you were really calling it a buzzard or not but I figured that was worthy of a small correction.
