DESCRIPTION
Volume² - advanced Windows volume control, a complete replacement for the standard Windows volume control.
It lets you easily change your sound volume or mute your sound by rotating your mouse wheel, by using keyboard shortcuts of your choice, or by moving your mouse pointer to an edge of your display. It supports several languages. Replace your default Volume control with a custom one using Volume2.
CAPABILITIES
*Volume Notification, Mute Notification, Control from Hotkeys.
*Brightness Control using Hotkeys.
*Balance channel Control using Hotkeys.
*Screen edges, can be used, such that sliding your mouse up and down the side of the screen will toggle volume up/down
*Support events to set Volume value
*Support command line
*Plays sound on every Notification.
*CD/DVD Drive Ejection using Hotkeys.
*System tray Volume Status/Mute Icon showing current Volume.
*Safely remove USB drive
*Control volume by channels with mouse wheel (for 5.1 or 7.1 audio system)
*Peak Meter
*Show OSD on monitor where is active application
*Support all Windows Version (Win XP , Vista , 7).

INSTALLATION
1. Open the zip file with an unzip tool, such as WinZip or WinRar;
2. Run Setup.exe ;
3. After installation, run Volume2 shortcut on your desktop.
UNINSTALLATION
1. Just run Uninstall.exe in Volume2 folder

On Volume² right click button in System tray icon select "Settings..."

I used process explorer to search why some programs (dxtory for example) could not end correctly (they stay loaded in task-manager) and found out that volume2.exe uses about "33'000" handles on my system and seems to "load" (hook or whatever you call it) nearly every running process (exe) on my system not only once but a lot of times... other programs only use 10-100 handles, but not 33'000... could this be a bug?

Is there a way to disable the default volume changing gui so when i press f9 or f10 it shows the volum2 changing gui not default?

omg fucking awesome, been looking for this my whole life. Thats a win. Thank you very much. If I had money and a credit card I would give you some I found a clock that does what I want it to for XP too this week. I have never been so happy in my life.

Nice Application - Just needs some more fully supported themes (usb, brightness etc)

I take that back - it's only the Beta that has limited skins - I just added them from the release version and they work fine
Can you please add the ability for the Fn key as a keyboard shortcut for Brightness +(Fn + Up Arrow) - (Fn + Dwn Arrow)

i download the portable version and there was some window popup with some errors i couldnt run your app,
i downloaded normal windows instaler and vuala it works perfect,nice app
(i dont know why portable version dosnt work on my vista,maybe vista is blocking it somehow,its running in task manager but there is no icon in taskbar no posibility to open config or something like that)

Run again exe file, it shows Volume² settings, go to tab System tray and select skin, press Apply. Icon in tray is visible
