ok, so for all who don't understand german:the heading means SCHOOL..
It's a work for my art-class (grade 12) and we were supposed to do a painting with the topic "school"..
I chose those clocks because I always have to think about the awesome TIME I had (and still have) at school
u can also suggest different meanings of my painting if u take a closer look at the hands of the clocks
I only used general watercolor, a little opaque white and a brush (size 1).. nothing special.. anyone can do this.. I think I'll stick to such general materials in the future.. it's cheaper anyway ;D
all in all, this painting took me about 80 hours of work.. it's been my longest and hardest work ever..
by the way: I used the photography "time" by tigocarvalho as a reference!

All the watches have 11.55. Isn't that a reference to the Doom's Day clock? Or the amount of time human beings have been around compared to the rest of the planet. I'm sure there is a more complex meaning but I went for the quick pop- analysis.

also eigentlich wollte ich mich ja nur kurz bedanken, dass dir meine zeichnung gefällt..
aber wooooow was is das? oO ich erzähl dir damit zwar nichts neues aber das ist mit abstand eins der genialsten bilder die ich bisher gesehen hab
und sowas schönes "nur" als schulprojekt!^^ so detailiert und die farbabstufungen sind perfekt.. ich würde mich im leben nicht 80 stunden dahinter klemmen >.< das ist echt wahnsin. hut ab!

Ich muss echt verrückt gewesen sein mit den 80 Stunden. Seitdem habe ich nicht mal mehr Ansatzweise dieselbe Zeit in ein Bild investiert. Ich glaube das war auch nur, weil damals in meinem Kurs noch andere sehr gute Mitschüler waren und mich der Ehrgeiz gepackt hat.
