Description
This was painted for my winning bidder, jungle_ride, on my Help_Haiti offering. The money went to the Red Cross. Whoo!It's Gwen and Arthur from the BBC's Merlin. The idea was, basically, that they've been separated, Arthur having gone off to war, and they're longing for each other. Everything, from the background to the outfits, was jungle_ride's idea, of course, since I don't watch the series. Yay for referencing!

"Merlin" is fascinating, so interesting and gorgeous TV-series with great and very talented actors!
Colin Morgan and his character Merlin are just wonderful, brave, kind and handsome!Β Love them, love Merlin's smile and his magic eyes!Β Β
"Merlin" inspired me to drew many arts about this amazing story, and will inspire me in the future.

I really like the background, but the whole picture is marvelous.
One small comment-- I think her sleeve should get wide earlier up the arm. This knowledge coming from having worn recreations of medieval dresses (legitimate, not cheapy) and drawn from well-researched books.
But that doesn't really matter. It's nitpicking.

That's what references are for, though. XD I swear I saved over a /hundred/ images where the hands/clothing/amour etc were pictured just to get the right feel of it.
