Do you think you might be able to make a tutorial on how you make character molds. I'm new to maya so I don't know how to do them as good as you.

Honestly, you have to be taught by someone who knows how to use Maya. I've tried to learn it using tutorials before, but they just don't give you half the info you need.
So, even if I made a tutorial, it won't help. I'm sorry.

Don't feel bad. I actually took a maya class a couple of weeks ago. However,the course was only two weeks long so the instructor (who was awesome!) didn't have enough time to teach us how to model our own characters.

3DS Max was used for the tutorial, but if you know what some terms mean, then I think you can get started there. ^^
